The Ocean

Rrrraaaaaa.......Just kidding! Jake and I talked this place up so much from the last time we came to the ocean without the kids that we had to hit it up first thing.

She was so excited to get her picture taken in the mouth.....she even touched a tooth!!!

Miss Maddy wanted one so bad, but I know her all to well to know that a 17.50 purchase would be broken by the time we made it home. Sorry honey, no dead baby shark in a jar for you!!!!

Looks dangerous!

Our next stop was the beach.....this little man thought sand was made for him.........

until his face hit it! LOL He also thought it would be a good idea to eat the sand....NO NO

It's hard to say no to that face!

No toes in the water just the sand!!!

What do you think was the first thing she did?????

ANIMAL......oh yes, if you know Maddy then you know she is always an animal!

Dad just laughs at his animal daughter!

Then there was the hole.......

The hole looked like this when daddy discovered it......

and if you know Jake, then you know he had to make it bigger!!!

Daddy wanted to know if she could get out on her own.

With a little foot step, sure!

Dad plugged that hole and made her try again.....check out the leg muscle......remind you of anybody????

He had to find water!

I did not like the idea of a big hole being out there, so I built a little wall around it to alert drivers.....That got destroyed shortly after I built it.

Yes we took a stroller to the beach. It did very well too, until miss Maddy wanted to take a ride.

She was not having the waves.

I did manage to get her to stand there for a few min. to get a couple cute pictures.

Dad found a crab claw, which by the way made it's way into her pocket and I found it in pieces in the laundry. Clean laundry by the way!

Her and dad decided to take a dip in the pool.....Brhody loved watching sister and daddy play in the pool. He was glued!

He was teaching her how to doggy paddle.

He got her to dunk all the way under the water too. She had so much fun, it was hard to get her out.
