Since the weather forecast was giving us one nice day out of this whole weekend, we decided to see what we could find at the zoo. Boy oh boy did we have some good luck with seeing some really cool things at the zoo, which you will see soon. Just a warning, if you don't have tons of time right now than don't bother. This is only a pinch of pictures that were taken today! Maddy was in heaven watching these little guys!
On the way to see more animals we spotted this friendly guy! He came right up to us, I thought for a moment that I would have to grab him and dropkick him if he tried anything.
We saw a big crowd around these two, I wonder why? They were putting on quite the show for everyone. They got pretty carried away, and would bump up against the glass, making old mom here a bit nervous. Can you believe Maddy wasn't scared at all.
Of course when we get to the monkeys, she freaks out and would not go up and say hi to this fellow. Sorry about the glare, but there were so many people trying to get up close that I had to snap a quick shot.
Then we heard this guy causing quite the stir in the crowd. He was very loud, and his neck would blow up and get pretty big.
His brother here was hiding out until Daddy spotted him, and oh boy he was not to happy having his cover blown. He got all bent out of shape and started in with his brother. We had to make a mad get away before we caused any more trouble...LOL
Of course the fake ones are ok mom! There nice, they really are!
One of Maddy's favorite animals at the zoo!
This guy was pretty mellow, but his friend down below was pretty anxious.
He kept rocking his feet and moving back and forth.
Since the Elephants play with them, of course Maddy had to see it!
These are cute little baby foxes mom!
Dad had to pick her up for a better look.....
and this is what she spotted....
and a very lazy hippo.
One of my favorites of the zoo!
Can you guess what this belongs to???
He was pretty cool!
she went right to it.
This cutie was right under our feet. Maddy chased him around for a while. Dad told her to act like she was going to feed him, so she does and the duck gets her finger in the process. Thank goodness it didn't hurt. All in all we had a wonderful day at the Zoo!
