Little miss Maddy's first day of school! She was so excited. We had to go through a lot of different outfits before she decided on this one. She is finally turning into a girl!!! LOL

One New Lens and Two Cuties

After using my sister-in-laws camera lens, of course I had to have one too. So after months of wanting and talking about it I finally ordered it.....Yay.....It just got here today and I took full advantage of the sunshine and my two cuties.

Outside fun!

With all this hot weather we have been having, we try and spend as much time outside as we can. Maddy always finds plenty to do out there. She decided to let her chickens out on this day and had way to much fun chasing them around the yard, until we almost had a Mice of Men moment. Our poor Bella ( our fav. chicken ) got stepped on and has a slight limp now. I think she will be okay though. She all to excited when she got a hold of Pretty girl though, she is a tough chicken to catch when on the loose.


Then she put her clearance squirt gun to good use in the pool.....she was trying to squirt the dog and some birds flying by.


I think the birds are to fast!!!

The next day I realized that all of her 1 pair of outdoor shorts were dirty, so I decided to cut off a pair of outdoor pants that are way to short anyways.....I know total WT but what the heck, I don't want to spend money on something that will be destroyed in min. I also took it upon myself to cut off the sleeves of her fav. outdoor shirt, which is almost to small. She looks good right???

She was loving her new look a little to much...LOL

It all works with the rubber boots too!

Our Very Own Scientist!!!

Earlier this week Maddy joined her cousin Mark at VBS for a couple nights. Which is where she got these beauty's. She was so excited that she got to bring them home and wanted her picture taken with them. I told her okay, but kept forgetting so on our lazy Saturday, I was using them to cut onions ( no I wouldn't let the hubby get my pic in them ). Since Maddy saw me wearing them she started begging me to take her picture again. I caved pretty easy once I saw her trying to act like it was a photo shoot....LOL It was pretty funny!!!

I have no idea what she was trying to do here, but it looked funny to me.

The Things Maddy Does......

We were having a very lazy family Saturday and Maddy thought to include little Rocky in the lounging. He did not seem to mind since this is his favorite place to lay. Usually he does not have the blanket on though, that was a special touch done by little miss Maddy! He laid like that for at least an hour, until the hubby got down on the floor, which means play time to him.

GOTCHA

For months now I have tried to get a picture of this thief, but every time I get the camera out he gets tired of hanging on trying to eat and would fly away. Well this morning when we got up there he was munching away on a feeder, that is all to small for him. "What a booger", is what Maddy says! I have been trying to tell my hubby about him for months now too, but of course he's never home and I can't seem to be quick enough. This time the hubby got to see!!!

Check out both feet wrapped around the feeder pole....not on the feeder at all!

He dropped a few pieces and it was easier to get that way.
