Mark & Maddy day of fun!

This is just one of the many things these kids found to do outside. Maddy was trying to push him but he wanted to pretend it was his dirt bike.....number 199!

Next was the tough man competition.....she was trying to dump the water out of her sand box, so I could put clean water in it for the whale that Mark is holding....He kept looking at me like, what is she doing!

He kept climbing this over and over....I think it was one of his favorite things to do in the back yard.

Then he found this frog and had to come show me and kept saying " take it's picture B ".

This is where the real fun started. They spent most of their time digging in the dirt looking for worms. It was pretty cute!

She got one.....

and so did Mark!

Mark had a great idea to put them in the wagon, since B wouldn't let them come in the house.

I think at one point they had up to 15 worms in the wagon!

Then it was time to take the worms for a ride. I'm pretty sure a few worms lost their lives during the wagon ride. Only one worm was in her hand, the others are under her! Oops!

It's Maddy's turn to take the worms for a ride, they had to make sure the worm was safe in Mark's hands before starting.

I'm not sure who had more fun, them or the worm!

You think their looking for the worm, don't ya? Nope, Mark spotted a spider and started to get a little worried that it was going to get on him, so Maddy decided to help!

Mark got pretty worried about the spider, so he had to get out, and so Maddy went in for the kill! All in all they had a pretty good day in the Zourkos back yard!

Blog overload!!!

She is getting used to mom always walking around with a camera, so now whatever she is doing, its always "mom take my picture"! She was begging me to take her picture laying on the floor after waking up from her nap.

It's worth it to get smiles like this.

Missing the sunshine we had a few days ago.....Maddy mixing her mud up!
She picked every one in the yard......
and many more items too, so I made a bouquet in the grass with them. Her favorite thing was finding the baby pine cones.

She gonna chop that big old tree down. She says " it will take a while mom".

Miscellaneous stuff!

For anyone who reads, Nicholas Sparks is the man to read. I have read several of his books now, and wow. They have brought me to tears, made me smile and made me laugh out loud. I would recommend anyone of his novels to you! If your not a reader then check out one of his many books that have been made into a movie.

I just love the thrift store, here is one of my finds from today's travels, not sure what to do with it yet, but I love it. I have to say thanks to my sister in law who brought me back to the world of thrift store shopping! Thank you Tasha!

This little bugger was just sitting there waiting for me. I bought new pots and pans the other day, and I can only use wood or plastic utensils with them. So I bought some new wood utensils and I wanted to have them out on the counter, but had nothing to put them in. Now I do, it is a perfect addition to my kitchen.

These are my new wooden utensils. I love using them with my new pots and pans. Cooking is enjoyable again.

Abc....123

Check out Maddy's first day of Abc's and 123's.....She did so good, she even sounds out the letter! I'm so proud of her. We have been working at letters for a while but today she did the A on her own. Notice the apple at the top of the page.....and the sticker she got.
The number 1......she did pretty good on this too.

THE GOURLEY EASTER EGG HUNT

This Easter egg hunt was suppose to happen a few weeks, but things kept getting rescheduled. This weekend we finally got to do it....and as you can tell the kids are having a blast. There were only a couple fights over eggs.

I found 2 momma.....

I just loved this tree with the eggs in it, and the kids had a blast getting them out.
Both the kids got one of these big eggs, of course Mark had this blue one and Maddy had a pink one.
Here is Mark trying to find his big blue egg.
Can you see the pink egg???
I found it.....I found it!
What's in it???
Look at all of our eggs......
They were pretty excited to get in and open them up.

Maddy & Mark

What do you think they are talking about? They seem to have there own language....

Maddy is the leader of trouble.....

I think Mark wanted to throw another snowball at her....

I can catch her......I know I can.....They did a lot of chasing each other this weekend.

IT'S A MONSTER TRUCK

Anybody who knows little Mark, knows that he loves monster trucks. Jake brought his truck over the mountain with us and Mark kept starring at it while we were outside playing. I asked him if he wanted to sit in it and of course he says " yes, sit in the monster truck".

He couldn't be happier......

and whatever Mark does, Maddy wants to do too, and of course she has to drive.
