Outloud Thinking.....

Hmmm...I have been getting the urge to change something. I think this is the longest I have gone without changing something in the house. I sure my hubby has been thankful for the break, but momma is getting antsy! I have been thinking hard about what to do with my guest room, considering I have given the entire closet to Jake for his ever growing hobby. I would love to paint that room and get it looking complete, but I still have hopes of turning it into a little boys nursery....I can't believe I just wrote that, well I'm safe since the hubby doesn't read this. Maybe if I painted it blue and put a crib in there he would get the idea...LOL I think I would have to turn it into a padded room if that were the case...LOL Anyhow, I think very soon you will be looking at some before and after pictures of that room. I am also thinking of putting some color in my living room. That would have to be approved by the hubby, due to the fact that he would have to be the one on the ladder painting. I don't want to chance falling off the ladder at that height. Well I guess I got off my chest what needed getting off, so until then......Sorry Grandma Soup, no pictures of the miss Maddy! Soon I promise.

Easter Saturday!

Grandma Linda's Easter with Maddy!

EGGS EGGS EGGS...and poop!

And she's off.....eggs eggs eggs!

Oh I see another one mommy!

Mom there all over!

Maddy did you miss one???

After a few hints, she got it! Oh there it is.....

Mom...what's that???

I think the Easter bunny pooped on our floor......that's a bad Easter bunny momma.....OOOH clean it up! So I did!

Hmmmm a shooter.....open it momma!

What....a chocolate bunny....for me???

Hmmm what's this.....Hmmmm something I can make a mess with??? Oh yes it is, sticky foam!

Who would have know that a 3.99 dollar dinosaur in an egg would be such a hit. Directions said to submerge the egg in water, so we did just that. Keep it in the water for 12 to 24 hours......What were they thinking.....12 to 24 hours....Maddy ( a 3 year old ) was asking every 15 min. mom can I see my dinosaur egg??? Finally dad just put it on the counter so she could stare at it. Finally the next day that little thing cracked out. She wont put it down, and keeps calling herself it's mommy. I had to make a little bed for it last night. I will have to take some pictures of this thing....I mean her baby dinosaur!!!

The Easter Egg Center Piece.

It all started out as a project I stole off of another blog to do with Maddy. The only thing she heard me say was project and I got this big smile.

Mom, what are we doing with these?

I get to put dirt in them.....oh! Check out that smile.

I think this was her favorite part of the whole project!

We only broke one egg in this process.

Look mom, I did it.

In all only 2 eggs were destroyed.

Now that you saw the whole project which led up to what to do with the grass eggs once the grass grew. I got a crazy idea to make a Easter egg center piece. My husband thought I was crazy. He said " your putting eggs with grass on the table"? Yes honey that is what is happening, and the fun didn't stop there. I also made grass egg name tags, which you will see.

I'm A Princess Momma!

The other day I cleaned out the spare room closet so the husband could have it for his fast growing hobby! In doing so I had to make some major room in the master closet, so I did some hardcore organizing. I finally cleaned out stuff that I was hanging onto for no good reason. A mustard yellow hat that I never could bring myself to wear, a pink wallet that is not big enough for all my junk, and a shall that I got in Hawaii when I was 21. Maddy of course was helping with the closet project, and as I would put stuff in the to go pile, she would say momma can I have this. How can you say no to a face like that, especially when she says " momma it's princess stuff". When the job was done, Maddy comes out into the living room wearing this........

These pictures were taken a couple of days after the original dress up and I helped get the shall to stay around her, but 4 days later she is still wearing it and saying she is a princess.

Strip Me Down!

...........I was informed by the Grandma and Grandpa over the weekend that my story is not all right, so I have made the appropriate changes. I hope this is what really happened Grandma Linda!

Last weekend my very goofy daughter went to stay with her Grandparents on Whidbey Island. I never know what to expect when I talk to my mom and ask what they have been up to when Maddy's there. This last weekend they took maddy to a fundraiser at the beach where other kids were playing in the water. After being there for a little while and watching the other kids, Maddy asked to go play in the water. Maddy, of course wants to do what the other kids are doing. After the coat and shoes comes off, Maddy proceeds to take her shirt and pants off, leaving on just her underwear. My mom is laughing so hard at this point, she just lets her do her thing. After removing almost all of her clothing, she trots down to the water and now you will see her having fun in her undies! Notice none of the other kids are in there underwear. Only Maddy! Maddy then comes home and tells mom and dad that she got money for going into the water. My mom gave her a dollar, because Maddy did not understand that the people were donating money and then getting to play, not that they were getting money to play. She is one funny kid.
