Last Sat. we had Brhody's birthday party here and a very close family friend was very thoughtful and brought Maddy a gift as well. As you can imagine she was very excited to bust it open. The next day she got her way....on went the fake nails and she painted her own toes! The nails only stayed on for about 5 min. she realized she couldn't do anything with them on!

Little man turns One
Our little ham turns one!!! We had a wonderful party at our house with our friends and family! Little man was even in his handsome gear....as I call it! LOL Grandma was so awesome with helping set up for the party and then helping with the gifts so I could get some good pictures. I think he prefers grandma anyways.
Grandma and Grandpa got him a basket ball hoop....he is still trying to figure out why we are all putting the ball through the hoop instead of just throwing the ball all over like he likes to do.
The cups he has in his hands are from Ikea....My sister and I took a trip there about a week or more ago. Ever since I brought them home, he has been trying to get at them in my bedroom. When he opened them and actually got to hold them without being told no, he was pretty happy!
He is not sure why we are all singing Happy Birthday to him. To many people! Maddy blew his candle out by the way!
He was not to sure what to do with this thing in front of him.
Grandma and I had to give him a few tastes before he would even think about putting his hand in it!
Grandma had the great idea of giving him a monster truck from the big cake. That plan worked out awesome, he started wheeling it around and even started sucking cake off of it.
Grandma did a wonderful job on the cake. I bought a blank cake from Costco and she turned it into one of her master pieces!
All in all the party was a hit. We are so thankful to have so many wonder friends and family! Thank you to every one who took the time to share this special day with us!!! We love you all!Wednesday, February 8, 2012
Movie Review
Anyone who knows us knows we watch a lot of movies, so I thought you might be interested in knowing what we think of all them...LOL So over the past few weeks these are a few of them. I also included what rating they got from Blockbuster.
Puncture Staring Chris Evans.....received a 3 star rating.
We liked this movie, it was surprisingly good. We both though Chris Evans did a good job. It was however a little sad, but worth a watch.
Warrior Staring Joel Ederton and Tom Hardy.....received a 4 star rating.
We both really liked this move, it held your attention through the whole movie. Good story and very moving. Definitely worth a watch.
One Day Staring Anne Hathaway and Tom Mison......received a 3 star rating.
Jake refused to watch this one, because it is more of a chick flick. I had a hard time getting through this one. I liked parts of it, but found it a little boring at times. If you have nothing else going on I guess it's worth a watch. I would not run right out and rent.
Drive Staring Ryan Gosling......received a 3 1/2 star rating.
Okay, this movie was not what I thought it was going to be. Was not very happy with this one. It was gross at times and just a bad story line. I'm not fond of movies that just end and leave you wondering and they nailed that. We would not watch this movie again. Sorry Ryan.....you are to cute to have such a bad movie. Should not of got a 3 1/2 star rating.
In Time Staring Justin Timberlake and Amanda Seyfried......3 star rating.
We both really enjoyed this movie, a bit different but that's why we liked it. It really makes you think about if things like that could really happen. Had a good ending too. It was nice to see Amanda do a different roll too. We would definitely recommend a watch.
Okay there you have it, I'm sure I will post more we watch later......and I hope this help with your movie choices
An afternoon at the lake!
Monday we decided to take advantage of the nice weather. After picking the kids up from school we took the kids to lunch, the lake and the park! By the way this is Maddy's friend from school Elliana! They are two peas in a pod! LOL By the way Brhody was there too, just no pics! Poor kid!!! And no pics of the park either, we had our hands full with keeping track of our children!!! I am so thankful that Maddy has a little girl to play with that she really likes!
The little ham on the right is Rylan, Elliana's little brother!
Last weekend we took a trip down the road to the elementary school for a nice afternoon at their park! Brhody's first time on a slide, which he loved. I know the pictures don't say it but he really did like it! Maddy made it over the top and down the other side of the ladder. She was very excited about that!!!
Daddy even took a ride down the slide! Hurt back and all but he is still a trooper!
This is a tiger cage, can you believe they have tigers at the park!
He was giggling on me when I was swinging him! I don't know what happened when he got on dad!
Daddy had to be the hero and recover 6 balls from the SCARY sticker bushes!
This one was almost brand new, and was the only one with a good amount of air in it. Maddy was happy to have a ball to kick around.
I don't know what was up with her tongue this day.
Little man just hung out like a champ and watched all the fun unfold in front of him! He is so patient. Thank you Brhody for being Mommy's happy little boy!
