This is the last room in our house to get a face lift. Both kids have rooms that are nicely put together. I did finally talk the hubby into getting new bedroom furniture about 2 years ago. I found it on craigslist and swooped it up for a good price. Nothing really ever went together in this room. It was just a place to go lay your head. We painted the whole house this tan color when we moved in. The whole house needed some TLC. I never really new what to do in the master, but I loved the new comforter I got on clearance. I finally decided it was our turn to have a nice bedroom. These are some before pics of the old color and the dark curtains and mismatched pictures.

After taking some odds and ends from other rooms and painting a few things, I am a few steps closer to having a complete room. I still have a few things to do but for the most part I am done. I know these pics are a little dark but let me tell you, it is a whole lot better. The color is awesome and it all has a theme now. It feels good laying in bed reading or just laying down and looking around ( which I do often ). I just love the fresh feel it has now.

The white curtains give a bright and warm feel to the room.

The angel pics on the sides of the bed are going, but I need to find something that will go in the frames. I just hung them to get the feel for what it would look like with them up.

I'm a big boy now!!!

Yes that is a spoon in my little mans mouth. He has been staring at us while we eat for some time now. The Dr. gave me the go ahead at his last apt. He did really good too. He ate pears mixed with rice cereal. He gets really mad when the food is not being shoveled in fast enough though. I also have to have a bottle waiting for him. He starts squealing like a pig.....so funny! Boys are so different from girls, Maddy was not like that at all!

Dad thought it would be funny to show of all his empty dishes. Oh ya, that is a spork by the way....didn't have any baby spoons and he was wanting to eat. LOL I don't think he cares much....as long as it makes it to his mouth! What a ham!!!

Graduation Day!!!

Maddy graduating from pre school. It was too cute!

That is her teacher Miss Debbie and my little munchkin in her pink ballerina dress!

Shaking her teachers hand! We practiced that one!

The best part of the whole day......mini cupcakes!!!

Her best friend Thomas ( Moose )! They are so cute!

Kids......you never know what they will do next! (Jamie if you read this.....I don't know what they were doing here, but yuck is all I have to say to Maddy...LOL)

She didn't see her flowers and balloons at first and wanted this other girls balloons.....and then she saw hers and was very excited! She got pretty spoiled as usual, but we are so proud of her!

Is there such a thing is being addicted to your beautiful children??? Well I just can't stop taking pictures of these two beauty's who run my life. I look at them and they both melt my heart and put a smile on my face. I hope you enjoy there beauty as much as I do!

Eggs...Baby....and Ballet

I'm so glad to be back in the land of Blogging! Well, I decided to throw a bunch of odd blogs together. To start, we were away at the sand drags and my sister took care of out chickens. She text me to tell me to look at the eggs in the fridge when we got home. This is what she was talking about. I tell you, that Pretty Girl lays some strange eggs. Sometimes they are HUGE and now they are a little bigger than a quarter. We didn't get any pics, but last night she kept flying up to perch on me. She used to do that as a baby. I think she thinks I'm her momma or something. I did hold her a lot when she was a baby...LOL Silly chickens!!!

I just had to throw these cute pics in. How can you resist this little man. Melts my heart!!!

Maddy likes to pretend that she is a ballerina. She plays the music on Brhody's swing and dances for Brhody and I. It is to cute! I just love the facial expressions she makes. I didn't get very good pics but here are some of what she does...LOL

Sand Drag Weekend!

This last weekend we took a trip to Albany OR for the sand drag event. First we had to cross the Columbia river, such a large river!

Once we crossed the bridge we were in Oregon. I can't believe I got that shot. We were driving about 55 mph. I just love my camera!

The hubby didn't think it so cool to get his pic taken while ready to fall asleep at the wheel after driving for about 5 hours and not getting home from work until 1:30 am that same morning. Poor guy, but anything to go fast!!!

Beautiful field of flowers that made the air outside smell oh so sweet!

Some lucky kids got to play in some bought snow! Wish I could of taken a sled ride down!

This little guy was a little stressed with all the rumbling from the motors. He can't really hear anything with those muffs on, but the rumbles and vibrations got to be a little to much by the afternoon. The second day however he seemed to be doing much better and fell asleep in the trailer while a sand drager rubbled less than 10 feet away. The trailer blocks some of the noise but you can feel all that power.

Daddy pulling a wheelie with his new front end in place.

Grandpa Vince pulling a BIG wheelie with his new motor! Now he wants to build a new car for the new motor. I tell you these boys are never happy and always want more.....LOL Not like us ladies who never want more...ha ha ha Right!
