Here she is the pumpkin Maddy picked on our trip to the pumpkin patch. Dad cut the top off and it was her job to get the guts out.
As soon as daddy was done, Maddy took off running down stairs. We both looked at each other like what is she doing....She came up with these...her Dora gloves! She was not about to put her bare hands in the guts...LOL
She did very well pulling out the guts.....just as long as none touched her arm or anything else.

Check it out mom....no guts on my hands...LOL

She thought she was all done and gave me the gloves, but dad had scraped some more guts up to be pulled out. I had already washed her gloves, so dad tells her that she has to do it with her bare hands. Check that sad face out!

After she said she didn't want to...dad tells her that he wont finish carving if she doesn't. It was her part to get the guts out.
I then told her that Iron Man would do it. Be brave like Iron Man.....so she dug in!!!
She soon realized that these guts were not slimy like the other ones.

Then dad carved, which I missed, while washing pumpkin seeds....Once the carving was over dad handed the sharpe over to her for some art work on the pumpkin.
She was very excited about being in control of this stinky black pen!

The finished product!!!
We put a candle in it and set him on the deck!

Once we were done we dug in for some hot pumpkin seeds....Maddy really liked them!!!

Ever since Maddy watched the first Iron Man movie she has been in love.....Then the second movie came out and what do you know....in love all over again! Of course it's Halloween time now, so what does she want to be??? You guessed it Iron Man. Daddy and I tried everything to get her to be something girly or at least an animal, but no go. We came home with this....she does make a pretty good Iron man, just don't try to call her Iron Girl....she will correct you and let you know that she is Iron Man.

Today was her Halloween party at school, so all the kids got to dress up, and being Iron Man didn't stop her from crawling around and acting like a tiger.

These two are inseparable....of course they both had to be Iron Man.

They were together most of the party.

Even though it was party day, it didn't stop Miss Debbie from forming the pledge of allegiance circle. It was the cutest thing ever!

After the pledge of allegiance was over it was snack time.

Cookies, juice, doughnuts and yogurt!

After snack time was done they were off to the main building for some trick or treat fun.

It was very hard to stand in line.

After standing in line for what seemed like eternity it was trick or treat time.

After trick or treating was done we came back to class and did show in tell. Maddy wanted to bring her Halloween spider that her grandma Sue made for her.

She got to go around and show all the kids.

Once all the excitement was over, it was time to sit and watch a movie. They also got to have popcorn and juice. All in all it was a very fun day. I loved being a part of her big day at school!

Little Maddy chatting with some friends at school before we left on the big bus for the pumpkin patch.

Her first trip on the school bus. Momma was her seat belt.

Maddy's favorite thing at the pumpkin patch. She would of stayed all day if I let her!
Little miss Maddy walked right up to this big girl and started petting. Other kids would not dare get this close. The St. Bernards were very sweet and made me miss mine I had when I was younger....Maybe someday I will have another!

She really liked the geese, but they didn't like her so much. They kept trying to bite her...It was pretty funny!

Her favorite friend she made. I think the lamb liked her just as much, it kept leaning toward her so she would keep petting.

Time to choose her pumpkin....Where to start!

They told us they had to be able to carry their own pumpkin.

She chose a different one after realizing she couldn't carry this one more than a foot.
She refused to go on the other side so I could take the picture the right way with these things.

Finally I convinced her...this is the only picture I got before she was off.

She spotted Thomas, ( her favorite boy at school ) which is the boy right beside her. They are pretty cute together, she was trying to pick her up and he was caring her around...LOL
Since Thomas was going on the train, she had to go too! I think Thomas enjoyed paling around with her for awhile too.
On the second train ride, she had to ride in the last car ( the purple one ). It was nice, a ride with my girl all to myself.
She was moving her hands to the music and wanted me to take her picture, ( being cute ).
\
She had to pick the biggest tractor there and have mom hoist her up on it. She had a lot of fun with all the levers.

We were a little late getting to the hay rides, but the driver gave us a ride even though there were only 5 of us. It was nice to cuddle with my girl and take a fun ride. We had a very fun day together!
