A little of everything!!!

It all started with this mess outside in my front yard....If you look close enough you can see my piece of drift wood I saved from the fire at the last race we went to. I think I'm turning into my mother ( which is not a bad thing ) but she likes to bring crazy and wild things into her flower beds. I now get the looks from the hubby, like.....are you serious??? You really want to put that in the flower bed??? YES...I do! So anyways as you will see below I have not tended to this in a while. By looking at it, you would think maybe all summer.....Not true, it just grows at rapid speeds.

There she is.....what a beaut!!! Don't ask why, I just really liked it.

So this guy offered to take care of the spider infested flower bed, ( which is another reason I have put this off, I don't do spiders ).

This is pretty embarrassing for me to show. Yes that is a weed from the flower bed.

This guy got home shortly after the flower bed work started, so he decided to start bailing hay...LOL

It really has not been that long since the last mowing, but with this weather anything can happen!

After doing 1 and half passes down out somewhat small front yard, the hubby says to me " I can't believe I'm doing this without a cold beer".

This showed up shortly there after.

I just liked the buns in this one...LOL

I see it....I see it!!! Looks great!

Grass mowed and bed weeded....what an evening. Thanks boys!!!

This little monkey just had to rip the socks off while sitting with mom and of course start picking her toes.

She did pick me a beautiful flower......as she calls it!

Dad just had to find a snake.....of course miss Maddy has to run right over and check it out.

He was a wiggly guy, so she didn't get to hold him. She did a lot of snake petting though!

Dad decided to save it and bring it to work the next day and scare the holy heck out of his co worker, who is deathly afraid of them.

I think I made the air holes to big....we caught him trying to escape.

Dad was nice and decided to let him go. Your so lucky Kevin!!!

These guys were a nice little birthday surprise.

Had to put them to use....worked out good for our fish and chips....Yum

Homemade frys!!! Of course no after shots of dinner.....I'm a hungry prego girl and had to go eat!!!

Out Of The Norm

I thought I would be a nice wife and blog about some of the boys fun from over the weekend. This would be my hubby tearing it up.


Oops.....he broke something, so the boys are pounding away trying to fix it before the next race starts.

This was not a good moment for the weekend.

Looking for missing parts after the body flew off. Don't worry he already has a plan for the new hood scoop.

While Jake was busy in the control booth Jeffro got to drive the Jeep over to line up for him. He enjoyed this moment!

Some other cool moments over the weekend. I really liked this rig, but he had a little trouble keeping it under control as you will see in the next pic.

During all the fun this guy had to come around and take a peek at the races.

After all the racing was done I found these two girls heading out for the poker run.

While waiting for the girls to come around on their poker run I got some pretty good shots.



On the way home I finally had a decent enough lens that would capture this beautiful church that I love so very much.

Little miss Maddy's first day of school! She was so excited. We had to go through a lot of different outfits before she decided on this one. She is finally turning into a girl!!! LOL

Outside her new school. Yes I'm one of those moms who have to make their child stand outside and get their picture taken, but there were plenty of moms doing this!!! LOL


I wasn't sure how she would do, but leave it to Maddy to make friends and start playing right from the get go.
