My Princess

For Maddy's birthday she got this cute dress, which was meant to be worn to see Santa and at her Christmas program. We never made it to see Santa this year. She also insisted on wearing a purple number to her Christmas program, that her Grandma Linda got for her. I figured since it wasn't raining and the sun was trying to poke it's lovely face out, that I would take full advantage of the dress. She was such a good sport about it too....although she really didn't want to wear her pink cowgirl boots....until of course she had them on and kept telling me how cute they looked! So here are my favorite picks from about 100.

A Winter Wonderland!!!

After an afternoon of it really coming down and the cold setting in to stay for a while, I talked the hubby into doing something nice and cozy!

Awwww.....isn't it nice! It was broken for a while and we really never used it because of having Maddy and scared she would burn herself. Just look at her burn....It keeps the front room really nice and toasty!

The kids love it too. as you can see.....we put Rocky's bed in front of it and he just loves it.

The next morning we woke up to this.....brrrrr is all I have to say!
The sun was shining and it was beautiful, but way to cold to venture out in.
Maddy decided it was time to do handstands....of course dad had to help her with that.

I think it all wore him out....or it was the nice warm fire we had going!
After dads nap, he decided to check on the ladies, which seem to be enjoying the foreign white stuff.
This guy like it for a short 5 min. Check out the snow beard!
I then mentioned that dad should try the Revo in the snow.....It riped around pretty good on the driveway, but not in the deep grass.....I think he had fun! All in all we have had a nice time in our own little Winter Wonderland!!!

FIRST SNOW OF THE YEAR!

This light dusting is what I woke up to around 6:40 this morning. I was very quiet and peaceful outside.

This is the first freeze of the year!

A few hours later it started again.......

then it started getting a little heavier.

Within a half hour it was really coming down.

We ended up with about a half inch.....it was a nice treat on a Sunday late morning.

Maddy thought Rocky needed a better view out the window to watch the snow.

BOAT TIME

On a lazy Sunday morning ( daddy's only day off right now ) it was boat building time. Maddy got this boat for her birthday a few weeks before, but daddy has been working so much that he hadn't had a chance to build it. Daddy put the nails in and got them started, then he let Maddy hammer them the rest of the way. Of course I did not get pictures of this. I was busy doing something in the kitchen. And they decided to start before I was able to take a picture of the before it was opened.

I did manage to get some cute pics of them in their pajamas building the boat.

She was pretty excited to have it all complete!

She is terrible about having her picture taken with things.....she doesn't understand when you ask her to hold it up, it means not in front of your face.

Finally managed to get her to hold the boat down and get a good pic.

All thrown together.....

The Saturday before Halloween we were at the bank and Maddy saw these people up on the hill under a tent. She wanted to know what they were doing. Once she found out they were painting faces, she was all over that. She really wanted a dinosaur face, but they said they couldn't do that, so she picked the kitty. She was really good during the whole thing, even getting glitter put onto her face. This picture is after a few hours of wear and a nap. Mom didn't know we were getting her face painted so of course the camera didn't go to the bank with us. She made me take this as soon as she woke up from her nap....she doesn't look all that happy though...LOL

This was a fun morning, my little girl had her first get dressed up for school pictures day. She even let mom curl her hair....I'm not gonna lie, that was torture for her.

Don't she look pretty!!!

We went shopping with a friend the week before her birthday party, and this is what she had to come home with. She calls it her ballerina dress....She says "momma, watch me twirl". Too cute!!!

I know its kinda blurry, but how cute.

Of course these had to come home too. She had to have sparkles to wear with her dress.

Even though she had a ballerina dress on it didn't stop her from being her usual self. I am totally surprised that she didn't rip this dress before the party started with all the running and usual animal stuff she does.
I did however get her to stand still for a moment to get this cute pic.
Next came the presents......ALL the presents....I think next year we will do something a little different.

She really thought this was cool.
Of course we have to wear the Iron Man mask and the chest piece with her ballerina dress.

This was really funny.....Grandpa Don got her this gift....it was wrapped in tinfoil. I think that threw her off a little.

Once she got the wrap off, she realized it was a box. Anybody who knows her, knows she loves anything she can put stuff into.

What came out???

Oh there they are....these little guys have had a lot of play ever since being discovered.

She had to make sure they were put back in their home.

A little excited about Train your Dragon!!! Which she has watched way to many times since receiving it.

She loves these pants by the way......she wants me to feel them way to much when she wears them.

This horse took the cake......she takes this horse everywhere with her, and with some birthday money she got, we had to get some babies and a daddy horse.

Notice the horse is still with her...LOL
A helmet.....thanks mom and dad!

Oh wait.....a bike!!!!
She really liked it....until we went outside........

She went cruising out towards the gravel, once she hit that, the bikes training wheel sunk into the gravel......you know the rest. She hasn't been back on it since, but to be fair it has not been very nice out and she has been sick.
Good job Grandma Linda......She really like this!

Holy cow.....Iron Maddy!!!

Notice she did have to change into her iron Man outfit.
Happy Birthday to you.....Happy Birthday to you.....Happy Birthday to Maddy....Happy Birthday to you!!!

Mom thought it would be more fun to have lots of candles instead of just four, boy was I wrong.....she had to suck the frosting off every candle as she took them out.....but we finally got to eat our yummy cake....All in all it was a very good day. A small party with her favorite people here!!! Thanks to all for everything!!!
